How do I contest a petition for an order of inheritance in Israel? Posted on June 24, 2013

A petition for an inheritance or probate order must by law be published in printed periodicals. A person who wishes to oppose the claim must submit an objection to the Inheritance Registrar within 14 days of publication of the notice of the petition. After submission of the objection/opposition, the petition will be automatically transferred to the Family Court.
